Total Commander 8 beta 14 is a new way to explore your Windows System. If you've ever thought that Windows Explorer is not the most optimal and fast to work with folders and files, if you think it is a slow system, you should use Total Commander or Speed Commander.
Total Commander greatly improves Windows Explorer, 'doubling' its usefulness through two windows in parallel to perform operations with files. Appearance and layout reminiscent of the famous "Norton Commander" of DOS.
Addition to the double panel, its main features are a client of FTP built into the program, a compressor and decompressor integrated (supports ZIP, RAR, ARJ, ACE, LHA, TAR ...) and a useful file renamer.
Warning: This is a beta version! Please use it only for test purposes! Since 32-bit plugins cannot be used by 64-bit programs, they need to be converted first. Therefore there will not be many plugins available initially for 64-bit. If you use plugins extensively, you should keep using the 32-bit version. You can install both in parallel to the same directory. Just install the 32-bit version before the 64-bit version, otherwise uninstalling the 32-bit version will damage the 64-bit version.
